These are versions of songs that we recorded the day that we wrote them just so we wouldn’t forget the songs, with the intention to develop and professionally record them later on. Here are unreleased demos, phone recordings, and songs never before heard or recorded. These songs may be re-written, recorded and released in the future, and as a member of The Service, you heard it here first.
Once upon a time, we were called Whiskey Circus and we were exactly that. Most of these recordings were done with legendary producer, Andy Johns who is known for recording Led Zeppelin II, III, IV, Physical Graffiti, along with The Rolling Stones Exile On Main Street, Van Halen, Cinderella, Godsmack, and Lenny Kravitz. It was an amazing experience to work with him, but the music was never officially released.
This was our first attempt at putting a band together after Mitch & Phill had written their very first songs and played them as an acoustic duo on the streets of Los Angeles to try to earn money to pay rent. The band was named after our first apartment together that Mitch & Phill shared with a rotating cast of actors and musicians.
